TOMATEC Pigment "Near Infrared Reflective Pigment"
A "black" pigment that efficiently reflects near-infrared light and mitigates the temperature rise of objects!
"Near-infrared reflective pigments" utilize the absorption and reflection characteristics of visible light as coloring agents, but in recent years, the reflection properties in the near-infrared region of certain composite oxide pigments have gained significant attention. Near-infrared reflective black pigments, which take advantage of the reflection properties in the near-infrared region, are used as color materials in heat-insulating paints. These pigments help mitigate temperature increases in objects caused by near-infrared radiation, such as sunlight, and by applying them to paints and plastics, benefits such as heat retention prevention, improved air conditioning efficiency, prevention of thermal deformation and expansion, and enhanced product lifespan can be achieved. Additionally, we respond to various customer needs with a comprehensive lineup, including chrome-free heat-insulating pigments. [Features] ■ Effectively reflects near-infrared radiation ■ Suppresses temperature increases caused by sunlight ■ Reflects only infrared while maintaining the inherent performance of the pigment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
